Here are the three steps to the hiring process for Team Velocity:
Step 1: Apply
You’ve identified an opportunity that excites you! Now, we invite you to submit your application along with your resume via our website. Remember, if you’re applying for a creative position, be sure to also include a link to or an attachment of your online portfolio.
Following your submission, a member of our internal recruitment team will review your credentials against the requirements for the role you’ve expressed interest in. If deemed a potential fit for the position applied for, you will then be contacted regarding next steps.
Step 2: Assess
We are looking for the best of the best in talent.
At Team Velocity, we pride ourselves on communication during the interview process. All potential candidates will begin the interview process with a preliminary phone screen conducted by a member of the HR team. This will help us learn more about your professional experiences, interests, and goals. Once the phone screen has been completed, the phone screen notes will then be sent over to and reviewed by the Hiring Manager in charge of the specific role interviewed for. If the Hiring Manager decides to move forward in the interview process, next steps will be to set up a face to face interview or a Skype interview, depending on role, location, and timeliness. We recognize that the interview process can be daunting, especially with a lengthy review cycle. So, for all candidates who are not picked for an interview at that time, your information will be kept on file and we encourage you to continue to watch for new opportunities with Team Velocity. We recognize an interview should serve mutual benefit, so we eagerly invite your questions.
Step 3: Offer
It’s decision time! Our team works hard to ensure the right hiring decision is made for you and Team Velocity. If you are selected for this position, an offer will be extended to you via email from a member of our Human Resources team.
Step 4: Onboarding
You’ve accepted the offer! Congratulations, and welcome to Team Velocity! Upon completion of your background and reference checks, you will receive additional details about your onboarding experience including access to our online portal.
Step 5: Don’t Worry
If you’re not selected for this position, don’t worry! We will keep your resume on file and keep you in mind for future opportunities within our organization that may be a better match for your skills and experiences.

While we can’t reveal what questions we will be asking (come on, where’s the fun in that?) we can tell you to prepare some of the basics. Arrive early, be prepared to discuss your experience in detail, bring fresh copies of your resume and samples of your work (if it applies).
